Catch the spirit of the samurai by trying on armor with dignity

It's an opportunity to try on the armor of warriors for battles in the Warring States period.

A set of replica armor made almost identical to the genuine one weighs 20 kilograms in total. Museum staff helps assure that a ‘try-on’ goes smoothly. Wearing a replica sword makes a participant feel the spirit of the samurai for sure!

A participant can pose for a photograph in armor at his favorite spot on the premises. It's free of charge when the staff takes pictures of you with your camera. A professional photographer can also be arranged for hire.

It was my first time to actually see armor. I didn't know it's so heavy for a samurai to equip for battle!
I wore a helmet but I coudn't walk in it! It was a very rare experience.
